Summary-Based Reporting
Crime Rates Per 100,000 By Trend Agency
Ten Year Trends
Trend Agencies include the 15 largest cities and the 10 largest counties reporting crime data.  However, Robeson County Sheriff is not included in this table due to changes in reporting procedures that effected their 1998 and 1999 data.  Also, see 'Agency Reporting Status and Population' to determine reporting status by year.  If an agency did not report any offenses for a specific category for any given year, then that rate will not appear. Index Crime includes the total number of violent crimes (murder, rape, robbery and aggravated assault) and property crimes (burglary, larceny and motor vehicle theft).
